MATTHEW
One of the biggest things I got from the course was getting feedback from Erin and the rest of the class. It encouraged me to experiment with not only camera settings and composition, but also editing and post production techniques.
Each week, I wanted to take what I had learned in the previous week and demonstrate that I grasped the concepts and put the feedback into practice.

NICOLE
I have been able to step outside of my comfort zone in ways that I never have before and I also feel like I can actually see a realistic trajectory of where I would like to take my photography in the future.
Before Elevate I didn't have the courage to go outside of my comfort zone, but Elevate really helped to give me that confidence and challenge that I needed.
Dear all the aspiring photographers…
Who are passionate about photography and want to see their photos in the glossy pages of magazines, or want to be flown around the world to shoot in their dream destinations or have their photos hanging on gallery walls.
Do you know…?
-
the difference between shooting mind-blowing images that have your inbox full of fans and new clients anxious to work with you to create more…
-
And feeling lost, confused and completely in the dark on how National Geographic photographer’s actually get started
Or the worst…
-
Having people constantly tell you they LOVE your work yet, you barely make enough to cover the cost of gas to get you there
If you guessed...
✘ Having a better camera gear…you’d be wrong.
✘ Having a massive instagram following…that wouldn’t be it either.
✘ Not having a day job so you had all the time in the world to shoot…that wouldn’t be it.
✘ Being born into a family that has connections in the industry who will help guide you to the top…that wouldn’t do it either.
You see the truth is having access to the most breathtaking locations,
contacts at all the best companies,
or even being born before everyone carried pocket sized cameras (their phone) everywhere
that won’t pave the way to achieving all your photography goals.
Introducing...

Elevate Your Photography
After six weeks of live ZOOM classes you'll:
- be consistently be shooting the photos you want
- have a fully functioning professional website
- be getting published, having your work hang in galleries, etc
- know how to go from amateur to professional photographer
Whether your goal is to…
✔️ Open up your favorite magazine to see your name in print next to the photo that you poured your heart into creating.
✔️ Have large scale prints of your work framed on a gallery wall inspiring hundreds
✔️ Make a new mother cry when she sees her newborn’s photos.
✔️ Consistently work with brands that don’t haggle your price down because there are a million other photographers out there that will do it for less
You're in the right place.
Now, I know what you’re thinking “why can’t I just find this information on YouTube”?
First off, I appreciate your skepticism.
These days, literally everyone with a phone, has a camera and claims they are a photographer.
They have all the advice in the world about how to shoot and what to do but the second you ask ‘how’d that work for you?” they disappear or rattle off their instagram following not the awards they have won, where their work has been published and who they’ve worked with and the amount of money they’ve made.

The truth is I’ve been a professional photographer for a decade and shooting photos before digital was even a thing and I had to go in the darkroom to print photos. I’ve worked with top outdoor brands like The Northface, Patagonia and Evo, been published worldwide, been featured in numerous galleries including Summerset Gallery in London, England.
I am a National Geographic photographer, a Sony Alpha Female, and I have an X-Games Gold Medal for Action Sports Photography.
Did I mention that I grew up in the suburbs of Toronto and didn't go into the backcountry until I was 25? I showed up in Whistler with a camera, zero contacts and $500 to my name…proving you can start anywhere with whatever you have.
LET'S TALK
HALEE
I was a little worried about the price...mostly because it was an online course. I also felt I could try to learn on my own but then figured a six-week, class-focused setting with Erin might be beneficial so I took a chance.
The lessons really motivated me, and I progressed in ways I never would have on my own. I also loved Erin’s feedback and the extra advice she gave about clients, business, and career experience in the sports industry.
Before Elevate I really wanted to start shooting adventures but I had no idea how to do it, now, 6 weeks later I know...
Invest in yourself. It's worth it.

HILARY
I was nervous about registering…is this price going to be worth it?
The assignments are specific and relevant and actually do move my photography forward. I'd paid for two workshops in the past; one was terrible, the other was disheartening.
I was really honored with how open and transparent Erin was through this whole process. It was a big missing piece for me.
AND during the course, I reached out to my first publications ever which was a huge hump I needed to get over!!
This is a completely different type of online photography course with the power to:
-
Get you to consistently create the photos you want, photos that will catch the eye of top editors and clients.
-
Get you to confidently put your work out into the world
-
In six weeks you’ll have a professional website
-
Make your competition 100% irrelevant
-
Have a clear path on how to reach all of your unique photography goals.
How does Elevate do it?

COMMUNITY
- To Inspire and Support You -
The research goes on to show...
That 90% of people perform better with specific and challenging goals that incorporate regular feedback, and have solid support.
FEEDBACK
- On Your Photographs...
So You Can Improve FAST -
Studies have proven that...
Feedback is one of the most powerful influences on learning and achievement
(https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6987456/)
Most online photography courses don’t take any of this into account.
They give you stock, cookie cutter, one size fits all lessons that are exactly the same for everyone and you do them completely alone. They don’t consider your work, your specific goals and your unique strengths and style.
They simply give you generic “how tos” without giving you the things you actually need.
GIVE ME THE INFONow, Elevate has helped over 100 photographers improve their photography, land their dream jobs, get published and more, confidently put their work out in the world.

TRISH
“I was working full time as a live-in nanny when I signed up.
I’ve always struggled with this idea of ‘perfect’. I thought I needed perfect light, or the perfect composition, or the perfect leading lines…
But, the lessons and weekly assignments stirred curiosity and play. I was able to capture and create without being paralyzed by perfection. After getting feedback on each assignment, I knew what to improve and started actually to do it. More, I was inspired by my classmates.
This year, I had my first shot printed and used in a store window display. And one of my bucket list clients reached out with work. I’m also on a monthly retainer with two companies which has allowed me to finally quit my nannying job.
I highly recommend doing this for yourself - I’m beyond grateful."

Accountability: it is difficult to keep the momentum going - with Hogue Education you have weekly assignments that you submit to the facebook group every week.
Community: Other photographers are going through the same challenges you are, every week in the live ZOOM class you are learning with an amazingly supportive community. This inspires and naturally encourages you to push yourself even more. Never again will you have to say I’m not inspired and I feel completely alone.
Feedback: Improve so much faster because someone with experience is actually telling you what’s wrong, how to fix it and what step to take next. Stop saying to yourself I have no idea what to do. Why is this SO hard to figure out.
Here’s what you need to know about capturing photos that make an impact when no one knows your name and it feels like everything has been done before.
The time where you have to have a darkroom and know how to use it to be a successful photographer are long over but it’s no wonder everyone loves shouting…
"That will never work everyone wants to be a photographer"
"No one wants to pay for something they shoot with their phone"
"Everyone wants video …photography is officially dead"
Tell that to 97% of businesses, travel companies, most families and people with big empty walls that need outstanding photography.
The truth is just because everyone has a camera just like everyone has a paint brush…
That doesn’t make everyone Picasso.
I was excited and a little nervous/anxious before registering.
I was questioning if this was going to be what gets me to the next step in my photography. Learning about the course beforehand and getting a quick outline of what to expect in the video was useful in deciding if this is something that would be beneficial for me.
The mention of having a full website at the end of the six weeks got me excited, it was something I hadn’t attempted but knew it was needed.
In all honesty, pricing caused a little hesitation. I knew this was going to be an investment and there was the lingering question if it would be worth it.
It turned out to be very well worth it and I hope I can put all the information and techniques to good use!
