When I came into Erin's class I was sure we were going to learn some of the technical aspects of photography, the settings on the camera, how to use them, all that. I didn't know that would only be a small part of the course and that the bulk of it would be how to let the camera help me express myself. What photography was before week one and what it is now after week six are two completely different perspectives. The class was one of those moments in life when someone opened up another dimension for me. Photography had been about taking pictures. Now it's about telling stories, capturing emotion and eliciting a feeling in the viewers. I know I've connected with them when they look at my shots and their faces tell me they see what I saw and they feel what I felt. It was a great class.
